The dishonest autobiography of Mr. Radhakrishna Vemuri, MD of Andhrajyothy

Honesty is a GREAT virtue. There is no shortcut to lead an honest life. It is not that cheap that Mr. Radhakrishna can get a name of honest person by just writing four serial stories about him in his newspaper. If people like him write stories that his life is an inspirational, honest one, it only sends a wrong signal to the youth who definitely need inspiration from the previous generations. Even if he gets away now, a time will come that people know about him. If dishonest people start exposing themselves as honest people shamelessly, a time will come that the young will start questioning the motives behind the sufferings of the great people of previous generations. This leads them to be depressed and make them cynical of any inspirational personality, which is not good for the society. Real honest people do not write that they are honest in every few pages in their biographies. Their honesty will get reflected in the effect they bring in the society.


It is sickening to read biographies of people who try either to elevate themselves to a position that they do not deserve or demeaning other people that they do not like. ఆత్మ స్తుతి, పర నింద...


There are many people in this world who have big ambitions in their life and do not mind getting involved in unethical activities as long as those activities are not illegal. It is not our job to track all those people and expose them. Radhakrishna is one of them. In his case, he crossed the limits by using the resources that he has (read Andhrajyothy newspaper) to elevate himself as a champion of honesty.


Unfortunately, Mr.Radhakrishna did not learn the correct lesson when he got caught smuggling rice in his early life. He learnt a wrong lesson and that is that you can involve in any unethical activities to reach your ambition as long as they are not explicitly illegal. Mr.Radhakrishna mentioned that he became closer to people in power while covering Telugu Desam activities earlier. This was the phase he became a political broker.


He did not have courage and honesty to say that he was a political broker in his past while working as a journalist at Andhrajyothi. As a political broker, he has used his contacts that he has gained as a journalist and benefited monetarily by bringing people in the power and business people together. He mentioned in his story that he earned money in two ways. One is working as a journalist for Andhrajyothi and the other one is doing some small businesses. He conveniently ignored to inform another source of income thorough the political broker activities because it is not a respectable way of making money.

He could remember what a politician said some 30 years ago but it is surprising to see that he forgot the activities that he was involved in 90s and early 2000s.


He could have said he was involved political broker activities in his past but is a changed man now. Instead, he chose the path of elevating himself and command respect from the society that he does not really deserve. Does this mean he will never deserve this respect? He sure does. But, not by resorting to the cheap tricks like writing a Tollywood story about him. The respect he is commanding is not that cheap. It is very hard to lead an honest life and to make a mark on the society.


Mr. Radhakrishna! There are two choices for you after reading this article. You can be filled with bitterness, with hatred and a desire for revenge... Or you can make an effort to think and reflect and change the direction of your future. You really need to reflect on you and decide what path you would like to take.


I am against involving assassination of character of individuals online and equally against the people who spoils the younger generation by misrepresenting the facts. The intention of this article is not to dirty your character but to act as a warning to think twice before writing yourself to elevate yourself by hiding facts.


Did you ever think what damage it causes to the society if everyone starts writing about themselves as an inspirational hero? It pollutes the inspirational literature about great personalities in the human history and causes severe damage to the trust nature of young people.
